ENEMATA
An enema is the injection of fluid into the rectum and colon. The next are basic directions for plain water enemata:
I. ARTICLES NECESSARY In therapy room:
1. One (1) sheet
2. Enema can with rubber tubing and stopcock.

4. Lubricant.

3. Bedpan and cover.

II. PROCEDURE In therapy room:
1. Put together tools and solution. Place can two and one-half to 4 toes above patient.
2. Place affected person in position.
